All new keys must be secured from the post office. Woodtique's post office (based upon our zip code #97405) is the “southside” location, on 33rd Street between Willamette and Donald Streets. You can contact their office at #541/349-9774 to order a replacement key. The post office will assign someone to come and change the lock. After the lock is changed the key will be “on hold” at the station, or you can request that it be brought to your door. The keys belong to the address, not the individual, and the post office prefers that the key is left for new residents when people move. The cost as of 2013 is $40 for a replacement key. The post office does not keep copies of mailbox key.
